How it works

  1. Cast Sword of the Meek by paying 2.
  2. When Sword of the Meek enters, its living weapon ability granted to it by Ekthi triggers.
  3. Holding priority, activate Extruder by sacrificing Sword of the Meek.
  4. Resolve the Sword of the Meek trigger, creating a 0/0 Phyrexian Germ creature token. It'll enter as a 1/1 due to Ekthi's static effect.
  5. When the Phyrexian Germ enters, Sword of the Meek triggers, returning Sword of the Meek from your graveyard to the battlefield attached to the Phyrexian Germ.
  6. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns the unassuming equipment Sword of the Meek into a self-assembling sacrifice engine by leaning heavily on Ekthi, Contaminator Priest's static ability to grant every equipment living weapon. When you cast Sword of the Meek, Ekthi's conferred trigger tries to make a 0/0 token, but Ekthi's passive anthem pumps it into a 1/1, which immediately lures Sword of the Meek right back out of your graveyard and onto the new token. By feeding that very same Sword of the Meek to Extruder's sacrifice ability in response to its own living weapon trigger, you clear the way to repeat the cycle endlessly. Extruder happily reinvests those sacrifices into distributing infinite +1/+1 counters to your creatures, creating a relentless loop of artifact movement and growth.
