How it works

1. Activate Extruder by sacrificing Tatterkite
2. When Tatterkite dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to its static effect.
3. Resolve the Extruder ability.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on the brilliant interplay between Isilu, Carrier of Twilight (the back face of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn) and Tatterkite to create a perpetual motion machine of sacrifice and rebirth. While Extruder provides the sacrifice outlet that triggers the loop, Isilu's static grant of persist ensures your creatures return from the graveyard, and Tatterkite's built-in clause preventing counters completely negates the downside of persist. Because Tatterkite never actually receives the -1/-1 counter, it can die over and over again to Extruder, generating an infinite storm of artifact and creature triggers along with endless +1/+1 counters for the rest of your board.
