How it works
- At the beginning of your combat phase, Helm of the Host triggers, creating a nonlegendary copy of Kodama.
- Cast Acererak by paying 2.
- Acererak enters the battlefield, triggering itself, Kodama and the Kodama token.
- Resolve the nontoken Kodama trigger, choosing not to put anything on the battlefield.
- Resolve the Acererak trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand and venturing into any dungeon except Tomb of Annihilation.
- Resolve the token Kodama trigger, putting Acererak from your hand onto the battlefield.
- Acererak enters the battlefield, triggering itself and the nontoken Kodama.
- Resolve the Acererak trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand and venturing into any dungeon except Tomb of Annihilation.
- Resolve the nontoken Kodama trigger, putting Acererak from your hand onto the battlefield.
- Acererak enters the battlefield, triggering itself and the token Kodama.
- Repeat from step 5.
