How it works
Play any land that enters the battlefield untapped and can tap to produce 1.
When the land enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree and Maja trigger.
Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield.
Resolve the Maja trigger, creating a 1/1 Human Warrior creature token.
When the creature token enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers.
Holding priority, activate the land played in step 1 by tapping it, adding at least 1.
Storm Cauldron triggers, returning the land from the battlefield to your hand.
Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting the land from your hand onto the battlefield.
When the land enters the battlefield, Maja triggers, creating a 1/1 Human Warrior creature token.
Repeat from step 5.
This ingenious loop turns the simple act of playing a land into a self-sustaining engine of creation and mana. With Kodama of the East Tree on the field, every time a permanent enters the battlefield—such as the 1/1 Human Warrior tokens generated by Maja, Bretagard Protector whenever a land arrives—you get to drop a permanent card with equal or lesser mana value straight from your hand. Meanwhile, Storm Cauldron ensures your lands immediately bounce back to your hand the moment you tap them for mana, feeding right back into Kodama's trigger to restart the entire cycle.
