Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger, returning it to your hand.
Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Rakdos Carnarium onto the battlefield.
Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Rakdos Carnarium trigger.
Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger, returning it to your hand.
Resolve the Sakashima of a Thousand Faces token's trigger, putting Rakdos Carnarium onto the battlefield.
Kodama of the East Tree and Rakdos Carnarium trigger.
Repeat from step 5.
This elegant loop turns a simple bounce land into an infinite engine by leveraging a clever cascade of triggers between Kodama of the East Tree and a clone. When you play Rakdos Carnarium, it triggers its own return-to-hand ability alongside Kodama of the East Tree, while Sakashima of a Thousand Faces enters as a copy of the Kodama without the legend rule applying to hold you back. As the stack resolves, dropping the land triggers one Kodama's ability, which allows you to put the Rakdos Carnarium right back onto the battlefield from your hand—and because Sakashima of a Thousand Faces is also copying Kodama of the East Tree, it triggers in turn to sustain the bounce indefinitely.
