How it works

1. Play Rakdos Carnarium.
2. Kodama of the East Tree, Spark Double, and Rakdos Carnarium trigger.
3. Resolve the Spark Double trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger, returning it to your hand.
5. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Rakdos Carnarium onto the battlefield.
6. Spark Double and Rakdos Carnarium trigger.
7. Resolve the Rakdos Carnarium trigger, returning it to your hand.
8. Resolve the Spark Double token's trigger, putting Rakdos Carnarium onto the battlefield.
9. Kodama of the East Tree and Rakdos Carnarium trigger.
10. Repeat from step 5.

This clever loop hinges on the non-legendary copy effect of Spark Double, which duplicates Kodama of the East Tree while bypassing the legendary rule so both spirits sit side by side on your board. By dropping Rakdos Carnarium, you trigger its bounce ability to return itself to your hand while simultaneously feeding the cascade of enter-the-battlefield triggers from both Kodama of the East Tree and the Spark Double copy. Because each land drop chains directly back into red-and-black mana through Rakdos Carnarium and the duplicated triggers, you generate infinite landfall triggers to fuel any payoff you desire.
