How it works

  1. Play Dimir Aqueduct.
  2. When Dimir Aqueduct enters the battlefield, it, Dancing from Dark to Dawn, and Kodama of the East Tree trigger.
  3. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
  4. Resolve the Dimir Aqueduct trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  5. Resolve the Dancing from Dark to Dawn trigger, creating a token.
  6. When the token enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers, putting Dimir Aqueduct from your hand onto the battlefield.
  7. When Dimir Aqueduct enters the battlefield, it and Dancing from Dark to Dawn trigger.
  8. Repeat from step 4.

This loop transforms the simple act of playing a land into a self-sustaining engine by turning every piece of collateral into fuel. As you repeatedly play and bounce Dimir Aqueduct, its entry triggers Kodama of the East Tree to watch over the battlefield, while Dancing from Dark to Dawn capitalizes on the revolving door of landfalls to churn out an endless horde of Bear tokens. Because those very tokens entering the battlefield satisfy Kodama of the East Tree's trigger condition without needing to come from your hand, they drop the returned Dimir Aqueduct right back into play to restart the cycle indefinitely.
