How it works

1. Play any land that enters the battlefield untapped and can tap to produce 1.
2. When the land enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree and Sporemound trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Sporemound trigger, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
5. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers.
6. Holding priority, activate the land played in step 1 by tapping it, adding at least 1.
7. Storm Cauldron triggers, returning the land from the battlefield to your hand.
8. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting the land from your hand onto the battlefield.
9. When the land enters the battlefield, Sporemound triggers, creating a 1/1 Saproling creature token.
10. Repeat from step 5.

This ingenious loop transforms a simple land drop into an infinite supply of creatures and landfall triggers. Sporemound provides the engine by spawning a Saproling token whenever a land enters the battlefield, which in turn triggers Kodama of the East Tree to let you drop a permanent from your hand. Meanwhile, Storm Cauldron forces that land right back to your hand the moment you tap it for mana, constantly reloading your hand so Kodama of the East Tree can drop it back onto the battlefield to restart the cycle.
