How it works

1. Cast Irenicus's Vile Duplication by paying 3, creating a token copy of Kodama of the East Tree that isn't legendary.
2. Play Izzet Boilerworks.
3. Kodama of the East Tree, the Kodama of the East Tree token, and Izzet Boilerworks trigger.
4. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree token's trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
5. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it to your hand.
6. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Izzet Boilerworks onto the battlefield.
7. The Kodama of the East Tree token and Izzet Boilerworks trigger.
8. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it to your hand.
9. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree token's trigger, putting Izzet Boilerworks onto the battlefield.
10. Kodama of the East Tree and Izzet Boilerworks trigger.
11. Repeat from step 5.
12. Cast Irenicus's Vile Duplication by paying 3, creating a nonlegendary token copy of Kodama of the East Tree with haste.
13. Play Izzet Boilerworks.
14. Both Kodama of the East Trees and Izzet Boilerworks trigger.
15. Resolve the token Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
16. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it to your hand from the battlefield.
17. Resolve the nontoken Kodama of the East Tree trigger, putting Izzet Boilerworks from your hand onto the battlefield.
18. The token Kodama of the East Tree and Izzet Boilerworks trigger.
19. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it to your hand from the battlefield.

This clever loop relies on multiplying your triggers with Irenicus's Vile Duplication, which creates a nonlegendary copy of Kodama of the East Tree so that both spirit avatars can watch each other's backs. When you play Izzet Boilerworks, its entry triggers its own bounce ability while simultaneously feeding the cascading triggers of your dual Kodamas. Each time a Kodama puts the returned Izzet Boilerworks back onto the battlefield, the land's bounce ability and the Kodamas' entry triggers feed right back into one another, generating an endless cascade of landfall triggers to fuel whatever victory you desire.
