How it works

1. Play Izzet Boilerworks.
2. When Izzet Boilerworks enters the battlefield, it, Thranduil the Strategist, and Kodama of the East Tree trigger.
3. Resolve the Kodama of the East Tree trigger, choosing not to put anything from your hand onto the battlefield.
4. Resolve the Izzet Boilerworks trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
5. Resolve the Thranduil the Strategist trigger, creating a token.
6. When the token enters the battlefield, Kodama of the East Tree triggers, putting Izzet Boilerworks from your hand onto the battlefield.
7. When Izzet Boilerworks enters the battlefield, it and Thranduil the Strategist trigger.
8. Repeat from step 4.
