How it works

1. Play a land card from your hand.
2. Kodama, Trench Behemoth and Omnath trigger.
3. If the land played was a basic land, you may activate it by tapping it, adding at least 1.
4. Resolve the Kodama trigger, choosing to put nothing onto the battlefield from your hand.
5. Resolve the Trench Behemoth trigger, targeting any creature an opponent controls.
6. Resolve the Omnath trigger, creating a 5/5 Elemental creature token.
7. The Elemental enters the battlefield, triggering Kodama.
8. Holding priority, activate Trench Behemoth by returning a land from the battlefield to your hand, untapping Trench Behemoth.
9. Resolve the Kodama trigger, putting a land onto the battlefield from your hand.
10. Trench Behemoth and Omnath trigger.
11. Repeat from step 5.

This loop turns a simple land drop into an engine of creation and combat disruption, utilizing Kodama of the East Tree as the heartbeat that keeps the sequence moving. Every time a permanent enters the battlefield—such as the 5/5 tokens generated by Omnath, Locus of Rage—Kodama's triggered ability lets you cheat a land straight from your hand.
