How it works
- Cast Jeweled Lotus by paying its mana cost.
- Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it.
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
- When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard to your hand.
- Repeat.
This clever loop relies on Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and Scrap Trawler working in tandem to recycle cheap artifacts and creatures endlessly. By sacrificing Jeweled Lotus to Ashnod's Altar for mana while also feeding Scrap Trawler to the altar, the Scrap Trawler's death trigger plucks the Jeweled Lotus right back out of your graveyard and into your hand. Recasting that Jeweled Lotus triggers Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle once more, pulling Scrap Trawler safely out of the graveyard and back onto the battlefield to do it all over again.
