How it works

1. Cast Jeweled Lotus either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 0
2. Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
3. Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop relies on turning your library into an endless resource using Crystal Skull, Isu Spyglass, which grants you the crucial ability to both look at the top card of your library and cast historic spells—such as artifacts—directly from it. By feeding Jeweled Lotus into the setup, you sacrifice the legendary artifact for three commander-only mana while triggering Showdown of the Skalds's later chapters to conveniently place a +1/+1 counter onto Arcbound Reclaimer. That newly granted counter then fuels Arcbound Reclaimer's activated ability, allowing you to recycle the sacrificed Jeweled Lotus right back to the top of your library so Crystal Skull, Isu Spyglass can let you recast it over and over again.
