How it works
- Cast Jeweled Lotus either from your hand by paying 0 or from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
- Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
- Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it.
- Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
- Repeat.
This clever loop lets you endlessly sacrifice and recycle artifacts to feed your triggers and pump your board. By casting Jeweled Lotus—either from your hand or for zero life off the top of your library thanks to Gwenom, Remorseless—you trigger Showdown of the Skalds, which drops a crucial +1/+1 counter right back onto Arcbound Reclaimer. You then sacrifice the Lotus for commander mana and tap the Reclaimer’s activated ability to strip that very counter, placing the Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard straight back onto the top of your library to do it all over again.
