How it works
- Cast Jeweled Lotus by paying its mana cost.
- Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
- Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it.
- Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
- When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard to your hand.
- Repeat.
This clever loop turns the zero-mana artifact recycling of Jeweled Lotus into an unstoppable engine by leveraging the passive graveyard triggers of Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and Scrap Trawler. Whenever you replay the Lotus, Teshar’s historic spell trigger pulls Scrap Trawler back from the graveyard, while sacrificing the Trawler to Phyrexian Altar lets you filter and generate colored mana while simultaneously using its death trigger to bounce the Lotus right back to your hand.
