How it works

1. Cast Jeweled Lotus by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it.
4. Activate Lithatog by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Lithatog ability.
7. Repeat.

This brilliant little engine relies on a recursive loop of casting and sacrificing artifacts to generate infinite colored mana that can only be spent to cast your commander, alongside an infinitely large Lithatog. By casting Jeweled Lotus, you trigger Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, whose historic spell clause pulls Scrap Trawler right back out of your graveyard to the battlefield. From there, sacrificing Jeweled Lotus for mana lets you feed Scrap Trawler to Lithatog's sacrifice ability; when Scrap Trawler hits the graveyard, its retriever trigger bounces Jeweled Lotus right back to your hand so you can cast it all over again.
