How it works
Cast Jeweled Lotus by paying its mana cost.
Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
Activate Jeweled Lotus by tapping and sacrificing it.
Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Jeweled Lotus from your graveyard to your hand.
Resolve the Umbral Collar Zealot ability.
Repeat.
This clever legacy and vintage loop turns the synergy between your graveyard and artifacts into an engine of endless iteration, fueled cleanly by Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle and Scrap Trawler. By casting Jeweled Lotus, you trigger Teshar's ability to pull Scrap Trawler straight out of the graveyard, allowing you to sacrifice Jeweled Lotus for mana while using Umbral Collar Zealot to sacrifice the Trawler itself. Because of Scrap Trawler's recursive trigger, its death safely returns the Jeweled Lotus right back to your hand, ready to be recast as a historic spell that restarts the cycle indefinitely while the Zealot lets you surveil your deck away.
