How it works

1. Activate Carrion Feeder by sacrificing Weaponcraft Enthusiast.
2. When Weaponcraft Enthusiast dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Weaponcraft Enthusiast enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Resolve the Carrion Feeder ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the back side of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn // Isilu, Carrier of Twilight into an engine of endless sacrifice by granting Isilu's persist ability to your other nontoken creatures. When you sacrifice Weaponcraft Enthusiast to Carrion Feeder, persist returns it with a -1/-1 counter, which is immediately canceled out by the +1/+1 counter from its own fabricate ability. Because this counter-cancellation resets its clean slate, you can repeat the process infinitely to fuel Carrion Feeder's growth and trigger an endless stream of deaths.
