How it works

1. Activate Thermopod by sacrificing Weaponcraft Enthusiast.
2. When Weaponcraft Enthusiast dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it.
3. When Weaponcraft Enthusiast enters, its fabricate ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it.
4. Repeat.

This elegant loop turns Weaponcraft Enthusiast and Thermopod into a self-sustaining mana and trigger engine, supercharged by Isilu, Carrier of Twilight (the back face of Eirdu, Carrier of Dawn). While Thermopod provides the sacrifice outlet to generate red mana, Isilu grants the Enthusiast persist, allowing it to return from the dead with a -1/-1 counter. The genius of the loop lies in Weaponcraft Enthusiast's fabricate ability: when it re-enters, the newly placed +1/+1 counter immediately neutralizes the -1/-1 counter via state-based actions, leaving the Enthusiast completely clean and ready to be sacrificed to Thermopod all over again.
