How it works
- Activate the creature with saddle's saddle ability by tapping Battered Golem.
- Magda triggers, creating a Treasure token.
- When the Treasure enters the battlefield, Battered Golem triggers, untapping Battered Golem.
- Resolve the saddle ability.
- Repeat.
This clever loop relies on Conspiracy to rewrite the fundamental nature of your team, turning Battered Golem into a Dwarf so it can actively participate in Magda, Brazen Outlaw's treasure-hoarding schemes. When you tap Battered Golem to pay a cost like a saddle ability, Magda rewards your newly minted Dwarf by generating a Treasure token. That incoming Treasure immediately triggers Battered Golem's static-watching ability to untap itself, leaving you ready to tap the Golem all over again. Once you have looped this process to accumulate an endless mountain of Treasures, you can finally cash in Magda's ultimate ability to tutor every single artifact and Dragon straight out of your library and onto the battlefield.
