How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Leyline of Transformation, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

By weaving Leyline of Transformation into the setup to declare every creature you control a Dwarf, you turn any creature into an immediate engine piece for Magda, Brazen Outlaw. When you tap a creature for mana via Cryptolith Rite's granted ability, Magda triggers from the tap and creates a Treasure token, which Stridehangar Automaton graciously upgrades by adding an extra 1/1 Thopter token to the mix. Smellerbee, Rebel Fighter happily hangs back to grant your squad haste while the tap-and-untap loop spins out of control, flooding the board with infinite tokens and mana. Once you have a mountain of Treasures, you can cash them in through Magda's ultimate ability to pull any artifact or Dragon straight out of your library and onto the battlefield.
