How it works

  1. Activate a creature by tapping it.
  2. Magda triggers, as the creature is a Dwarf due to Leyline of Transformation, creating a 1/1 Thopter artifact creature token and a Treasure token due to Stridehangar Automaton.
  3. Repeat.

This intricate engine spins into motion thanks to Leyline of Transformation, which blankets your entire board with the Dwarf creature type so that every creature you control synergizes with Magda, Brazen Outlaw. When you tap a creature for mana via Cryptolith Rite, Magda sees a Dwarf becoming tapped and triggers to generate a Treasure token, which Stridehangar Automaton immediately upgrades by appending an extra 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature token to the mix. Shang-Chi, Master of Kung Fu provides the necessary colored mana specifically earmarked for activating creature abilities while granting haste, letting you endlessly cycle your creatures' tapping and untapping without waiting. Once you have accumulated enough pieces, you can cash in Magda's massive hoard of gathered Treasures to tutor every single artifact and Dragon straight from your library and onto the battlefield.
