How it works

1. Activate Pheres-Band Tromper by tapping it, adding 1.
2. Activate Pheres-Band Tromper by paying 1 and putting a -1/-1 counter on it, untapping it.
3. Pheres-Band Tromper triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it.
4. Repeat.

This clever loop relies on turning Pheres-Band Tromper into a self-sustaining mana dork and growth engine by enchanting it with Karametra's Favor, which grants the creature a tap ability to generate the mana needed to fuel Sinking Feeling. Sinking Feeling bypasses the creature's normal untap restriction by letting you pay a mana and place a -1/-1 counter to untap it directly, which simultaneously triggers the Tromper's inspired ability. Because Shang-Chi, Martial Mentor is doubling all incoming +1/+1 counters, the counters added to the Tromper quickly outpace the -1/-1 counters, leaving you with infinitely large creatures.
