How it works

1. Activate Pheres-Band Tromper by tapping it, adding 1.

4. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the mechanical tug-of-war between positive and negative counters into an endless engine, centered entirely on Pheres-Band Tromper and its self-contained untap loop fueled by Sinking Feeling. While Sinking Feeling lets the Tromper untap itself for a mana and a -1/-1 counter, Shang-Chi, Martial Mentor steps in as a phenomenal amplifier, doubling the resulting +1/+1 counters to ensure the creature grows larger with every single iteration rather than withering away. To grease the wheels, Elven Chorus quietly pulls double duty by granting the Tromper the ability to tap for mana on demand, completely funding the first half of the activation cost and turning this counter-conversion cycle into a self-sustaining spectacle.
