How it works

1. Cast Welding Jar either from your hand or from the top of your library by paying 0
2. Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
3. Activate Welding Jar by sacrificing it.
4. Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Welding Jar from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Repeat.

This loop turns a seemingly innocuous zero-mana artifact into an infinite storm engine by recycling it straight from the graveyard to the top of your library using Arcbound Reclaimer's counter manipulation. You can effortlessly recast Welding Jar for free to trigger the second-chapter ability of Showdown of the Skalds, which instantly replaces the counter Arcbound Reclaimer just spent. Meanwhile, The Lunar Whale pulls double duty by granting you constant, proactive permission to cast that exact same Welding Jar right back off the top of your library, bypassing normal draw steps entirely.
