How it works

1. Cast Welding Jar either from your hand by paying 0 or from the top of your library by paying 0 life.
2. Showdown of the Skalds triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Reclaimer.
3. Activate Welding Jar by sacrificing it.
4. Activate Arcbound Reclaimer by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, putting Welding Jar from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
5. Repeat.

This ingenious loop uses Showdown of the Skalds as an engine to power continuous artifact recursion, triggered every time chapters II and III reward you for casting spells. You can cast Welding Jar for free—either normally or by exploiting Gwenom, Remorseless to play it directly from the top of your library for zero life—and then immediately sacrifice it to protect your board. That sacrifice sends the Welding Jar to the graveyard, where Arcbound Reclaimer can use the +1/+1 counter it just received from Showdown of the Skalds to place the artifact right back onto the top of your library. As long as Arcbound Reclaimer retains enough counters to keep feeding this cycle, you can repeat the process indefinitely to accumulate endless triggers.
