How it works

1. Cast Welding Jar by paying its mana cost.
2. Teshar triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to the battlefield.
3. Activate Welding Jar by sacrificing it.
4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Scrap Trawler.
5. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Welding Jar from your graveyard to your hand.
6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability.
7. Repeat.

This looping engine uses Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle as a dedicated recursion engine, triggering its ability whenever you cast a historic spell to pull Scrap Trawler straight out of the graveyard. Scrap Trawler then acts as our recovery hub, grabbing Welding Jar back to your hand whenever the Jar is sacrificed to protect an artifact or cashed in for value. Meanwhile, Altar of Dementia turns this endless recycling loop into a win condition by repeatedly sacrificing Scrap Trawler to mill your opponents out completely.
