How it works

  1. Cast the self-sacrificing artifact in your hand by paying 0.
  2. Ms. Bumbleflower triggers, causing an opponent to draw a card, and then putting a +1/+1 counter on Evolution Witness.
  3. Evolution Witness triggers, returning the self-sacrificing artifact from your graveyard to your hand.
  4. Activate the self-sacrificing artifact cast in step 1 by sacrificing it, and paying other costs if necessary.
  5. Repeat.

This clever loop uses Ms. Bumbleflower to turn free artifacts into a self-sustaining engine of growth and card advantage. Whenever you cast a zero-mana artifact like Urza's Bauble or Welding Jar, Ms. Bumbleflower's trigger places a +1/+1 counter onto Evolution Witness. That counter placement triggers Evolution Witness to return the sacrificed artifact straight from your graveyard back to your hand, allowing you to replay it and repeat the process indefinitely.
