How it works

1. At the beginning of your combat phase, Rionya triggers, creating at least one token copy of Sage of Hours that enters the battlefield with at least five +1/+1 counters due to Bloodspore Thrinax.
2. Activate the Sage of Hours token by removing all +1/+1 counters from it, causing you to take at least one extra turn after this one.
3. Repeat each turn.

This crafty chain locks down the game by turning your combat phase into an endless string of extra turns. It all centers around Rionya, Fire Dancer, whose ability generates hasty token copies of a chosen creature at the start of combat based on how many instant and sorceries you've cast. When those tokens enter the battlefield, Master Biomancer pumps them up with a hefty pile of +1/+1 counters—giving the arriving Sage of Hours token enough fuel right out of the gate to immediately strip away those counters and cash them in for infinite extra turns.
