How it works

1. Activate Umbral Collar Zealot by sacrificing Forsaken Miner.
2. If able, activate Crystalline Crawler's first ability by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, adding .
3. Activate Triskelion by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, targeting an opponent or a permanent an opponent controls.
4. When you commit that crime, Forsaken Miner triggers, causing you to pay to return Forsaken Miner from your graveyard to the battlefield.
5. When Forsaken Miner enters the battlefield, Celes's second ability triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.
6. Resolve the Triskelion ability from step 3.
7. Repeat.

This intricate loop is masterminded by Forsaken Miner constantly cycling back to the battlefield from the graveyard whenever Triskelion commits a crime by pinging an opponent or their permanent. To fuel that recursion, Crystalline Crawler sacrifices its own +1/+1 counters for black mana while Umbral Collar Zealot provides the necessary sacrifice outlet and graveyard-loading surveil triggers. Every time Forsaken Miner returns, Celes, Rune Knight recognizes that it entered from the graveyard and triggers a wave of +1/+1 counters that helps restock Crystalline Crawler and Triskelion for the next iteration.
