How it works

1. Cast Strength of Will by paying 1, targeting Triskelion.
2. Activate Triskelion by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to it.
3. Triskelion triggers, putting two +1/+1 counters on it due to Hardened Scales.
4. Activate Triskelion by removing a +1/+1 counter from it, dealing 1 damage to any target.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop turns Triskelion into a self-sustaining engine of growth and destruction by exploiting how it interacts with its own damage. Once Strength of Will grants the mechanical trigger to convert damage into +1/+1 counters, Hardened Scales acts as the crucial amplifier, ensuring that every time Triskelion shoots itself, it yields a net positive gain of counters rather than breaking even. This allows you to continually remove a counter to ping itself—or anything else on the board—and instantly more than replace it, resulting in arbitrarily large power and infinite damage.
