How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Sunbond triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth.
3. Herd Baloth triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Verdant Sun's Avatar triggers, causing you to gain 4 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This looping engine is all about a brilliant feedback loop between life gain and creature generation, fueled by Sunbond enchanting Herd Baloth to turn any initial life gain into a cascading avalanche of power. Every time you gain life, Sunbond triggers to place a +1/+1 counter on Herd Baloth, which in turn satisfies Herd Baloth's trigger condition to spawn a 4/4 green Beast creature token. That token's arrival on the battlefield immediately prompts Verdant Sun's Avatar to trigger, handing you 4 life based on the token's toughness. That newly acquired life loops right back into Sunbond to keep the entire sequence running indefinitely, netting you infinite 4/4s, infinite life, and an infinitely massive Herd Baloth.
