How it works

1. Gain life.
2. Spider-Man triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on Scurry Oak.
3. Scurry Oak triggers, creating a creature token.
4. When the creature token enters the battlefield, Verdant Sun's Avatar triggers, causing you to gain 1 life.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This elegant loop is fueled by a continuous lifecycle of life and growth, starting the moment you trigger Spider-Man, Peter Parker to drop a +1/+1 counter onto Scurry Oak. That counter causes Scurry Oak to spawn a Squirrel token, and the arrival of that new creature instantly rouses Verdant Sun's Avatar to grant you fresh life based on its toughness. In turn, that newfound life triggers Spider-Man, Peter Parker all over again to target Scurry Oak, closing the loop and generating an endless cycle of creature tokens, counters, and lifegain.
