How it works

1. Activate Wild Cantor by sacrificing it.
2. When Wild Cantor dies, Mortuary and Panicked Bystander // Cackling Culprit trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Wild Cantor from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Panicked Bystander // Cackling Culprit trigger, causing you to gain 1 life
5. Cast Wild Cantor from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This brilliant loop turns the top of your library into an endless engine by letting Bolas's Citadel bypass mana costs entirely, paying life instead of mana to repeatedly cast Wild Cantor. Whenever Wild Cantor is sacrificed for mana, Mortuary catches it on its way to the graveyard and immediately places it right back on top of your library. Meanwhile, Panicked Bystander // Cackling Culprit sits on the battlefield to cushion the life payment by triggering a life gain every single time the Cantor dies. Because the life gained offsets the Citadel's cost, you can repeat this cycle endlessly to generate infinite colored mana, death triggers, and a massive storm count.
