How it works

1. Activate Wild Cantor by sacrificing it.
2. When Wild Cantor dies, Mortuary and Embalmed Ascendant trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Wild Cantor from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Embalmed Ascendant trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and each opponent to lose 1 life.
5. Cast Wild Cantor from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This loop relies on Gwenom, Remorseless to turn the top of your library into your hand, letting you cast creatures directly from it while bypassing their mana costs by paying life instead. Wild Cantor is the engine's core fuel, sacrificing itself for mana only to be immediately intercepted by Mortuary's static replacement effect, which places it right back on top of your library. Meanwhile, Embalmed Ascendant serves as the vital bridge and win condition, providing the max speed static trigger that turns each creature's death into life drain so you can comfortably afford Gwenom's life-payment cost over and over again.
