How it works

1. Activate Wild Cantor by sacrificing it.
2. When Wild Cantor dies, Mortuary and Syr Vondam trigger.
3. Resolve the Mortuary trigger, putting Wild Cantor from your graveyard onto the top of your library.
4. Resolve the Syr Vondam trigger, causing you to gain 1 life and putting a +1/+1 counter on Syr Vondam.
5. Cast Wild Cantor from the top of your library by paying 1 life.
6. Repeat.

This clever loop turns the humble sacrifice of Wild Cantor into an engine of endless power, sustained entirely by the enchantment Mortuary returning the Cantor straight to the top of your library every time it hits the graveyard. While the Cantor provides the filtered colored mana needed to pay for itself, Gwenom, Remorseless grants you the vital permission to cast that creature straight off the top of your library while bypassing its mana cost entirely by paying life instead. Finally, Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar sits back to continuously watch the carnage, soaking up a fresh +1/+1 counter and padding your life total with every iteration to comfortably offset Gwenom's life-payment cost.
