How it works

1. Cast Burning Anger by paying 4, targeting Dread Slaver.
2. Activate Dread Slaver by tapping it, dealing damage equal to its power to any creature with toughness less than or equal to Dread Slaver's power.
3. The creature dies as a state-based action due to having zero or less toughness.
4. Dread Slaver triggers twice.
5. Resolve the first trigger, untapping Dread Slaver.
6. Resolve the second trigger, returning the creature to the battlefield from its owner's graveyard.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This loop turns Dread Slaver into an unstoppable engine of reclamation by leveraging Burning Anger to grant it a direct damage ability, allowing it to easily dispatch opposing creatures with its own power. Because Dread Slaver's damage-based trigger ensures any creature it strikes enters your control when it dies, every single execution of this damage-and-claim cycle strips an opponent of their board while bolstering yours. Alternatively, you can achieve a nearly identical loop by equipping Thornbite Staff to the Slaver instead, which uses the Staff's granted ping ability and its untap trigger upon a creature's death to keep the carnage flowing. Whether you choose the enchantment or the artifact, the resulting cascade of infinite death triggers and enters-the-battlefield events lets you sweep the board clean and claim every fallen foe for your own undead horde.
