How it works

1. Cast Devoted Grafkeeper from your graveyard for its disturb cost by paying , causing it to enter the battlefield as Departed Soulkeeper.
2. Oketra's Monument triggers, creating a 1/1 Warrior creature token.
3. Activate Phyrexian Altar twice by sacrificing the Warrior and Departed Soulkeeper, adding .
4. Departed Soulkeeper is not exiled due to Overwhelming Splendor removing its ability.
5. Repeat.

This clever loop thrives on the unique interaction between Overwhelming Splendor and Devoted Grafkeeper, whose front face allows you to repeatedly cast it from the graveyard using its disturb cost. Thanks to Oketra's Monument, casting this spell becomes cheaper while simultaneously spawning a 1/1 Warrior token to help fuel your engine. You then feed both the token and the newly entered Departed Soulkeeper into Phyrexian Altar, generating the exact mana needed to pay for the next casting cycle. Most importantly, Overwhelming Splendor neutralizes Departed Soulkeeper's replacement effect entirely, allowing it to slip safely into the graveyard instead of being exiled so the loop can begin anew.
