How it works
- Activate Chromatic Orrery's first ability by tapping it, adding 5.
- Activate Cogwork Assembler by paying 7, creating two token copies of Chromatic Orrery.
- Activate the Chromatic Orrery tokens' first abilities by tapping them, adding 10.
- Repeat from step 2.
- Once you have infinite mana, you may instead tap the Chromatic Orrery tokens to draw infinite cards, or target any artifact(s) using Cogwork Assembler's ability.
This explosive loop relies on Chromatic Orrery to generate massive chunks of colorless mana while simultaneously removing color restrictions, letting you pay for Cogwork Assembler's steep activation cost with ease. Because Primal Vigor doubles the number of artifacts entering the battlefield, each activation of Cogwork Assembler yields two Chromatic Orrery tokens instead of one—surpassing the initial seven-mana investment and generating a net surplus of mana with every iteration. Meanwhile, Mirror Gallery ensures you can control any number of these legendary artifact copies without having to sacrifice them to the state-based legend rule. Once you've established your infinite mana engine, those same newly minted Chromatic Orrery tokens can be tapped repeatedly to draw your entire deck.
