How it works

1. Activate Cogwork Assembler by paying 7, creating a token copy of Esika's Chariot and a 1/1 Squirrel creature token.
2. When the Esika's Chariot token enters, it triggers, creating two 2/2 Cat creature tokens and two 1/1 Squirrel creature tokens.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar four times by sacrificing four Cats and Squirrels, adding eight C.
4. Repeat.

This loops centers on Cogwork Assembler's ability to repeatedly clone artifacts for seven mana, which we use to target Esika's Chariot. Thanks to Chatterfang, Squirrel General's replacement effect, every single token creation event—from the new Chariot entering to the cats it produces—doubles up by flooding the board with extra Squirrels. We then feed those newly minted creatures straight into Ashnod's Altar to easily generate more than enough colorless mana to pay for Cogwork Assembler's activation again, leaving you with an unstoppable army of hasty artifacts, cats, and squirrels.
