How it works

  1. Activate Cogwork Assembler by paying 7, creating two token copies of Workhorse with haste that each enter the battlefield with eight +1/+1 counters on them.
  2. Activate a Workhorse token seven times by removing seven +1/+1 counters from it, adding seven C.
  3. Repeat.
  4. Once you have infinite mana, you may instead copy any artifact you control.
