How it works

1. Activate Cogwork Assembler by paying 7, creating two token copies of Esika's Chariot.
2. When the Esika's Chariots enter the battlefield, their first abilities trigger, creating four 2/2 Cat creature tokens.
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar four times by sacrificing the Cats, adding eight C.
4. Repeat.
5. Once you have infinite mana, you may forego sacrificing the Cats and/or target any other artifact using Cogwork Assembler.

This loop kicks off when you pump seven mana into Cogwork Assembler to target and copy your Esika's Chariot. Because Adrix and Nev, Twincasters is doubling every single token creation event, that single activation yields two Chariot copies instead of one, which in turn immediately drop four Cat tokens onto the battlefield. You then feed those four Cats to Ashnod's Altar, turning them into eight colorless mana—more than enough to pay for Cogwork Assembler's ability again while netting extra mana with every single iteration. Ultimately, this engine scales into infinite mana, infinite artifacts, and an arbitrarily large army of hasty copies.
