How it works

1. At the beginning of your upkeep, Second Chance triggers, causing you to sacrifice it and take an extra turn after this one.
2. Cast Second Chance from your graveyard by paying 2.
3. Repeat each turn.

This clever loop centers around Muldrotha, the Gravetide, whose powerful static ability allows you to cast a permanent spell of each permanent type from your graveyard during each of your turns. Because Second Chance is an enchantment, it neatly qualifies for Muldrotha's graveyard-casting permissions. By keeping your life total at 5 or less, the upkeep trigger on Second Chance lets you sacrifice it to take an extra turn, after which you simply replay Second Chance directly from your graveyard to secure infinite turns and lock down the game.
