How it works

1. Activate Secluded Steppe's cycling ability by paying and discarding it.
2. Surly Badgersaur's second ability triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
3. Resolve the Secluded Steppe ability, causing you to mill three cards and return Life from the Loam from your graveyard to your hand.
4. Activate Land's Edge by discarding a land card.
5. Surly Badgersaur's second ability triggers, creating a Treasure artifact token.
6. Resolve the Land's Edge ability, dealing 2 damage to an opponent.
7. Repeat from step 4 one additional time.
8. Activate the three Treasure tokens by tapping and sacrificing them, adding 1.
9. Cast Life from the Loam by paying 1, returning Secluded Steppe and two other lands from your graveyard to your hand.
10. Repeat.

This delightfully chaotic loop turns the simple act of cycling into a self-sustaining engine of destruction, fueled entirely by the discard-driven payoffs of Surly Badgersaur. By activating Secluded Steppe, you trigger the Badgersaur to mint a Treasure token while using the draw to dredge Life from the Loam, which conveniently refills your hand with lands. You then channel those discarded lands through Land's Edge to hurl direct damage at your opponents, generating even more Treasures from the watchful Badgersaur along the way. Finally, the mana produced by your hoarded Treasures pays to recast Life from the Loam, returning your discarded Secluded Steppe and other lands right back to your hand so the whole cycle can begin anew.
