How it works

1. Activate Zealous Conscripts by tapping it, creating a token copy of itself with haste.
2. When the token Zealous Conscripts enters the battlefield, it triggers, untapping the nontoken Zealous Conscripts.
3. Repeat.

This classic pairing enlists Splinter Twin to continuously duplicate Zealous Conscripts, turning a modest enchantment into an army-making engine. Each time a token copy of Zealous Conscripts enters the battlefield, its triggered ability untaps the original Zealous Conscripts, which is already enchanted by Splinter Twin and ready to be tapped again. Because the tokens created by Splinter Twin inherit the original's copyable values and gain haste, this loop can be repeated indefinitely to flood the board with infinite creature tokens and infinite creature ETB triggers, all ready to attack the same turn.
