How it works

1. Gain any amount of life.
2. Trudge Garden triggers, holding priority, activate all mana-producing creatures you control by tapping them, adding at least 3.
3. Resolve the Trudge Garden trigger, causing you to pay 2 to create a 4/4 Fungus Beast creature token.
4. The Fungus Beast enters the battlefield, triggering Trostani and Intruder Alarm.
5. Resolve the Intruder Alarm trigger, untapping all creatures.
6. Resolve the Trostani trigger, causing you to gain life equal to the Fungus Beast's toughness.
7. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop starts the moment you gain any initial life, setting Trudge Garden into motion to pay for its token-generating ability. As each 4/4 Fungus Beast enters the battlefield, Trostani, Selesnya's Voice triggers to feed you life equal to its toughness—which in turn fuels the next iteration of Trudge Garden's cost. Meanwhile, Intruder Alarm acts as the mechanical heartbeat of the engine, using its passive untap ability every time a creature arrives to ready your mana-producing creatures for another cycle.
