How it works

  1. Cast Kor Skyfisher by paying 1 and either W mana or two life.
  2. Defiler of Faith triggers, creating a 1/1 Soldier creature token.
  3. The Soldier enters the battlefield, triggering Trostani, causing you to gain 1 life.
  4. Resolve Kor Skyfisher, causing it to enter the battlefield, triggering itself and Trostani.
  5. Resolve the Kor Skyfisher trigger, returning it from the battlefield to your hand.
  6. Resolve the Trostani trigger, causing you to gain three life.
  7. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing the Spirit token, adding CC.
  8. Repeat.
