How it works
- Activate Thermopod's second ability by sacrificing Su-Chi, adding .
- When Su-Chi dies, it triggers, adding CCCC.
- Activate Chainer by paying 3 and 3 life, returning Su-Chi to the battlefield from your graveyard.
- When Su-Chi enters the battlefield, Trostani triggers, causing you to gain life equal to Su-Chi's toughness.
- Repeat.
This intricate loop relies on Mycosynth Lattice to strip away color restrictions and allow Chainer, Dementia Master to reanimate any creature from your graveyard regardless of its original color. By sacrificing Su-Chi to Thermopod, you generate both the red mana needed to keep the engine moving and a massive burst of colorless mana through Su-Chi's own death trigger. Chainer effortlessly pulls Su-Chi right back out of the graveyard for a mere three life and three mana, while Trostani, Selesnya's Voice pads your life total with every single reentry thanks to Su-Chi's toughness.
