How it works

  1. Activate Scorched Ruins and up to three other lands by tapping them, adding at least CCCCW mana.
  2. Activate Adagia by paying 3W mana and tapping it, creating a token copy of Treachery that is legendary attached to any creature.
  3. If you control two legendary Treachery permanents, put one into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
  4. The Treachery token's enter-the-battlefield ability triggers, untapping Adagia, Scorched Ruins and up to three other lands.
  5. Repeat.
