How it works

1. Cast Rite of Replication with kicker by paying 7, creating five token copies of Illustrious Wanderglyph.
2. Activate Time Sieve by tapping it and sacrificing five artifacts, ensuring to keep at least five Illustrious Wanderglyphs, causing you to take an extra turn after this one.
3. Move to your extra turn.
4. During your upkeep, each Illustrious Wanderglyph you control triggers, creating that many 1/1 Gnome artifact creature tokens.
5. Repeat from step 2.

This clever loop kicks off when you cast Rite of Replication to flood the board with five token copies of Illustrious Wanderglyph, whose natural upkeep triggers and passive stat-boosts turn your growing army into a serious threat. Once you cross the threshold of ten permanents to secure the city's blessing, your newly minted Gnomes and Wanderglyphs are more than plentiful enough to pay the steep cost of Time Sieve. By sacrificing just five of those artifacts to Time Sieve, you immediately cash them in for an extra turn, where the Wanderglyphs will automatically replenish your token supply during your upkeep so you can repeat the process indefinitely.
